One Big Table

So the plan for a table for the patio was put to a friend who makes wood stuff “We are thinking of putting a load of more substantial wooden things – a table big enough for twelve comfortably larger than anything you can buy retail – similar in girth and strength to the plank of oak that is the table on the other side. Think girth and I will think more specifically about what I am thinking of. Something that says “I am the table” – Strong like an ox, honest as a grandmother – and original rather than a manufacturer piece of retail detritus”

We chatted more and started to develop a plan for one big table.

The table was delivered a week ago and it took us that long to work out how to move it into place. It’s big & heavy & looks stunning
